About The Position

We are seeking exceptional ABAP engineers to build the AI layer for operating complex IT setups. This role extends beyond traditional ABAP, involving full-stack development, designing AI harnesses and agents, influencing product direction, and engaging with customers. Conduct aims to accelerate IT operations, enabling businesses to evolve faster and unlock productivity. We are a talent-dense team focused on ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration, working on a generation-defining mission to simplify complex ERP systems.

Our product, Conduct, allows IT teams to collaborate with AI agents to speed up tasks such as fit-gap analyses, hypercare support, deciphering business processes, and writing ABAP code. We have secured significant funding and are in an early stage where new hires can significantly shape the company's future.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on ABAP and SAP development experience (e.g., technical consultant, ABAP developer, solutions architect).
• Deep understanding of SAP system structure, including data models, BAPIs, IDocs, function modules, and enhancement frameworks.
• Experience working within or alongside large SAP implementations and migrations, understanding associated complexities.
• Eagerness to work beyond ABAP, including AI agents, backend/frontend development, and infrastructure.
• Strong, pragmatic engineering instincts.
• Commitment to writing production-ready code at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop software across the full stack, including backend and frontend.
• Design and build AI harnesses and agents.
• Influence product direction and strategy.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and challenges.
• Write ABAP code for custom reports to integrate ABAP-based systems with the Conduct platform.
• Develop AI agents capable of executing ABAP development tasks.
• Contribute to product direction and implementation.
• Identify edge cases, constraints, and quirks specific to complex enterprise SAP environments.
