About The Position
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP ABAP Developer to join their team. This is a remote position supporting the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) by developing end-user business applications using the ABAP development stack. The role involves complex business and system analysis, design, coding, and testing for current and proposed enterprise application environments.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of SAP S4/HANA Development Experience. An associates or bachelors degree may be substituted for 2 years’ experience.
- Significant knowledge of data structures, algorithms and solid experience in coding.
- Good understanding of software architecture principles, modern cloud architecture and design of enterprise software systems.
- Experience working across a large team to drive deliverables with excellent communication skills, proven in relations with teammates as well as with customers and external stakeholders.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Must be a US Citizen and be willing and able to undergo a Tier 2 Investigation with favorable results prior to starting this position.
Nice To Haves
- Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.
- Good knowledge of user interfaces, SAP development tools, UI frameworks and SAP Business Technology Platform.
Responsibilities
- Conducting translation of business area customer information into detailed enterprise application design.
- Interacting with SAP Functional Consultants and client team members to perform analysis of alternatives and provide recommendations.
- Participating in all phases of software development and delivery: from research and prototyping, design and architecture, through implementation and testing, to deployment, support and operations.
- Building advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards.
- Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts for enterprise application modifications and installations.
- Working as part of a development team, collaborating with others to ensure project success.
