About The Position
Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking an ABA Paraprofessional to join our team near Tenafly, New Jersey for a temporary ESY school-based role (with possibility for extension)! This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on every child's journey. Job opportunities are also available across various locations in New Jersey and Nation-wide! Setting: School-Based Services Hours: 8:45 am - 2:45 pm, M-F, June 22nd - July 20th Pay: $20-$25. This is an exclusive school placement with no travel required.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree OR at least 60 college credits OR you have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam
Responsibilities
- Provide support to teachers by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
- Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs.
- Help monitor and guide student behavior in the classroom and during school activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.
