About The Position

Compass ABA is hiring a part-time ABA Behavior Technician/RBT to provide individualized ABA therapy to children with autism in home or community settings. The role focuses on developing communication, play, social, and daily living skills. The position is based in Paterson, New Jersey, with afternoon or evening shifts that vary by client; the listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 5–7 p.m., for 15–20 hours per week. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour, based on experience.

The technician works under BCBA supervision, collaborates with families and staff, and collects data to guide treatment. Compass ABA offers supervision hours toward RBT/BCBA certification, virtual orientation, flexible schedules, same-day pay, paid holidays at 1.5× pay for eligible holidays worked, accrued paid sick time, referral bonuses, tuition discounts, and opportunities for growth and pay increases with tenure.

Requirements

• High school diploma; college education is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete all onboarding requirements.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in both languages.
• Meet physical requirements involving active movement, standing, and play-based activities.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with technology.
