About The Position

This role is an entry-level position that serves as the first step in a mapped-out career journey toward a degree, promotion, and leadership. The Behavior Specialist will use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills in a remote environment. The role requires energy and compassion, following personalized plans designed by clinical leaders, and celebrating client progress. Prior experience is not required as training and support will be provided. The position is described as flexible and on-the-go, with no two days being the same.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or GED
6+ months of experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)
Flexible availability (especially Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings + Saturdays)
Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – CA mandated)
Reliable transportation
Comfort working with diverse populations
Willingness to complete training and documentation
Ability to frequently sit and stand; keeping pace with your client

Responsibilities

Complete training and documentation.
Frequently sit and stand; keeping pace with your client.
Use telephone, speaking, and listening skills constantly.
Handle documents, use copier and fax machine, and filing constantly.
Type and use computer constantly.
Walk around building occasionally.
Bend, reach, stoop, and pull occasionally.
Lift, carry, and move items up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Walk to, bend to enter, sit, and use upper and lower limbs to drive car occasionally.
