About The Position

This is an entry-level position that serves as the first step in a career pathway designed for growth, potentially leading to a degree, promotion, and leadership roles. The company, Center for Social Dynamics (CSD), focuses on helping children with autism and other developmental needs grow through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role involves using play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills. Sessions can take place in a remote environment, at the child's home, CSD centers, or in the community. The position offers flexible schedules and paid training, with no prior experience required as comprehensive training and support are provided. The role emphasizes making a difference in children's lives and supporting their families.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)
  • Flexible availability (especially Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings + Saturdays)
  • Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – CA mandated)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfort working with diverse populations
  • Willingness to complete training and documentation
  • Ability to frequently sit and stand; keeping pace with your client
  • Constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, computer work
  • Constant sitting; frequent up and down out of chair
  • Constant use of telephone, speaking, listening
  • Constant document handling, use of copier and fax machine, filing
  • Frequent typing, use of computer
  • Occasional walking around building
  • Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, pulling
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, moving of items up to 20 pounds
  • Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car
