About The Position

Behavioral Innovations is seeking an ABA Apprentice for their Houston Heights Treatment Center. This program is designed for individuals who have nearly completed their degree, are accumulating supervision hours, and are preparing to take the BCBA exam. The program aims to provide a bridge between graduate school and independent practice by offering mentorship from experienced BCBAs, hands-on clinical experience, and a personalized study plan. Apprentices will work in real clinical settings, apply their skills, and receive guidance from a dedicated Learning & Development team to prepare them for the exam and their first BCBA role. The program emphasizes personalized success, confidence-building through hands-on learning, a supportive team environment, and clear pathways for career advancement within the company, including leadership, clinical specialties, or training roles.

Requirements

Within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence
Active RBT certification
At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements completed
Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Assist with indirect supervision tasks for a your own mini-caseload of learners.
Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBAs respective caseload.
Support Board Certified Behavior Analysts and provide staff and caregiver training.
Assist BCBA with parent communication and analyze client data.
Research literature related to client programs.
Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others.
Complete Monthly Mock Exams
Follow a tailored BCBA Readiness Plan
