ABA Apprentice
About The Position
Behavioral Innovations is seeking an ABA Apprentice for their New Braunfels Treatment Center. This program is designed to serve as a bridge between graduate school and independent practice for individuals who are nearing the completion of their BCBA certification requirements. The program offers structured mentorship, hands-on learning with experienced BCBAs, and a personalized study plan to prepare apprentices for the BCBA exam and future roles within the company. Apprentices will gain experience in clinical settings, assist with supervision tasks, conduct therapy, support BCBAs, and contribute to client data analysis and program research. Behavioral Innovations emphasizes a people-first approach, clinical excellence, and a supportive, family-like environment.
Requirements
- Within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence
- Active RBT certification
- At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements completed
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist with indirect supervision tasks for a mini-caseload of learners.
- Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBAs respective caseload.
- Support Board Certified Behavior Analysts and provide staff and caregiver training.
- Assist BCBA with parent communication and analyze client data.
- Research literature related to client programs.
- Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others.
- Complete Monthly Mock Exams.
- Follow a tailored BCBA Readiness Plan.
