ABA Apprentice
About The Position
Behavioral Innovations is seeking individuals for their ABA Apprentice program, designed to serve as a bridge between graduate school and independent practice for aspiring BCBAs. This program offers structured mentorship, hands-on learning with experienced BCBAs, and a personalized study plan to prepare apprentices for the BCBA exam and future roles. The program emphasizes learning from top BCBAs, applying skills in real clinical settings, and receiving guidance from a dedicated Learning & Development team. Apprentices will work towards logging supervision hours, gaining confidence, and developing clinical judgment before managing their own caseload. The program also provides clear pathways for career advancement within the company, including leadership, clinical specialties, or training roles.
Requirements
- Within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence
- Active RBT certification
- At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements completed
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist with indirect supervision tasks for a your own mini-caseload of learners.
- Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBAs respective caseload.
- Support Board Certified Behavior Analysts and provide staff and caregiver training.
- Assist BCBA with parent communication and analyze client data.
- Research literature related to client programs.
- Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others.
- Complete Monthly Mock Exams
- Follow a tailored BCBA Readiness Plan
