About The Position

This is a contract position for an Ab Initio Developer located onsite in Woodlawn, Maryland. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. The developer will be responsible for identifying requirements, designing, and implementing ETL solutions and data migration jobs, with a focus on automation and data warehousing concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience scripting in a Linux environment to automate ETL solutions and data migration jobs.
• Experience with data warehousing designs/concepts such as star and snowflake schemas.
• Understanding and application of quality techniques and practices (automated unit testing, Test Driven Design/Development, performance analysis, continuous integration).
• Ability to assist with architectural tactical thinking, information solutions and road maps to drive architectural recommendations.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Detail oriented and committed to consistently completing repetitive production-like tasks on-time and error-free.
• Prior experience working in a federal agency or public sector environment.
• Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree and 5+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience or 13+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with modern development software, tools, and methodologies.
• Experience working on Agile projects and understanding Agile terminology.

Responsibilities
