The target is to insert, update and maintain accurate data on computer systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Proven data entry working experience.
  • Typing speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and data programs.
  • Trustworthy with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Inputs text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.
  • Compiles, verifies accuracy and sorts information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Reviews data for deficiencies or errors, corrects any incompatibilities if possible and checks output.
  • Applies data program techniques and procedures.
  • Generates reports, stores completed work in designated locations and performs backup operations.
  • Keeps information confidential.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
