7th Grade Volleyball Coach
About The Position
This posting will remain open until filled. The 7th Grade Volleyball Coach will be responsible for coordinating the middle school volleyball program at Neil Armstrong Middle School. The approximate start date is August 24, 2026. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred. The role involves working on skill development, participation goals, and ensuring student-athletes maintain good grades and school attendance. Collaboration with other coaches is essential for building a strong athletic program. High expectations for academic success among student-athletes are a key component of this position.
Requirements
- Successful volleyball coaching experience.
- Volleyball background / NFHS Trained
- Communication, motivation and organization skills.
- Able to conduct yourself with the highest ethical and moral standards of good sportsmanship and teaching.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the middle school volleyball Program.
- Help organize and coordinate off season.
- Work on skill development and participation goals.
- Communicate with students, athletes, parents and community about our volleyball program.
- Check on student / athletes grades and school attendance.
- Supervision before, during, and after practices and games.
- Strong collaboration with other coaches in building and at the high school to create a strong athletic program.
- Have high expectations of student / athletes to achieve academic success.
