About The Position

The 7th Grade Head Football Coach at Franklin Middle School is responsible for all aspects of the head coaching role, including overseeing assistant coaches and making decisions aligned with the program's direction. This position involves organizing and supervising game help and assisting with supervision at activities. The role requires knowledge of Colorado and district content standards, and skills sufficient to perform all duties. It prefers experience in leadership situations related to meeting the social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs of students, as well as a work environment that values flexibility, conflict resolution, high stress tolerance, quick information processing, informed decision-making, and long hours.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • CPR certification
  • CHSAA test and regulation
  • Concussion Education
  • Prior coaching experience in this sport
  • Applicant must complete concussion training
  • Regular attendance is required
