About The Position

The Head Cross Country Coach at Franklin Middle School is responsible for all aspects of the head coaching role, including overseeing assistant coaches and making decisions that align with the program's direction. This position involves organizing and supervising game help and assisting with supervision at activities. The role requires knowledge of Colorado and district content standards, and skills sufficient to perform all duties. It also prefers experience in leadership situations that address the social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs of students, and a work environment that values flexibility, conflict resolution, high stress tolerance, quick learning, informed decision-making, and long hours.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
CPR certification
CHSAA test and regulation
Concussion Education
Prior coaching experience in this sport

Any other combination of related education, experience and training
Applicant must complete concussion training.
Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
