About The Position

The Head 6th Grade Football Coach at Franklin Middle School is responsible for all aspects of the head coaching role, including overseeing assistant coaches and making decisions aligned with the program's direction. This position involves organizing and supervising game help and assisting with supervision at activities. The role requires knowledge of Colorado and district content standards, as well as leadership skills related to meeting students' social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that values flexibility, conflict resolution, stress tolerance, quick learning, and the ability to make informed decisions, often involving long hours. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • CPR certification
  • CHSAA test and regulation
  • Concussion Education
  • Prior coaching experience in this sport
