About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Regulatory Administration and Airworthiness Manager to oversee employees performing engineering and technical activities as part of Regulatory Administration – 777X Development Programs in Everett, WA. In this role the selected manager will oversee employee activities associated with securing the amended type certificate for the 777-9 development program, while providing support as needed to the 777-8F. This position supports adherence to the ODA procedures manual and associated processes as well as regulatory agency requirements in support of Airplane Program business goals and is a functional leader to the 777X Development Programs team. This position interfaces with the following teams, in addition to others: Integrated Product Teams, Regulatory Administration Functional leadership, 777X Program, Product Development, FAA and EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency). This position also partners with Core Engineering on process requirements and implementation. Collaboration across other Regulatory Administration programs is a regular activity.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
