About The Position

The Lead Teacher Role is central to Alma’s success, responsible for ensuring high academic achievement and developing essential success habits in scholars. Lead teachers plan and deliver effective lessons, collaborate within grade-level and curricular teams, and build strong relationships with families. They receive ample support while maintaining autonomy to best serve their scholars, with a commitment to supporting their long-term professional growth.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher required
• Proven effectiveness leading all students to significant academic gains
• A passion for working with kids and a belief that all kids can succeed
• Humility, resilience, and a hunger to learn and grow
• Strong team orientation
• Infectious joy

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of full time teaching experience preferred
• Bilingual applicants strongly encouraged to apply
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus
