The Roger Bacon Academy is seeking outstanding applicants for a 5th Grade Teacher position at Classical Charter Schools of Whiteville, a K-8 public charter school in Whiteville, NC. This role requires a degree in Education and a passion for inspiring young minds. The school offers support through a dedicated Beginning Teacher Coordinator and Academic Coaches, along with ongoing training. The position is eligible for a Teacher Supplement and is paid based on the North Carolina State Salary Scale for Bachelor's Degrees. The curriculum is research-based and focuses on Direct Instruction, emphasizing phonics, writing, penmanship, grammar, style, mathematics, science, music, and art, drawing from classical sources to provide a strong foundation in western civilization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education
• Valid teaching certificate from North Carolina or partnering state in the area for which candidate is applying
• Ability to be on their feet at all times during the day
