About The Position

Yeshiva Elementary School (YES) is seeking a 5th grade secular studies teacher to for a part time position in the boys division, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in elementary education, with proven success in delivering engaging and effective instruction across core subject areas.

Responsibilities

• Teach a class of about 20-22 boys in a dual language environment.
• Teach all core secular subjects.
• Foster a positive and structured classroom environment.
• Utilize strong classroom management skills to support student growth.
• Implement school-provided curriculum.
• Maintain high academic expectations.
• Respond thoughtfully to guidance and direction from administrative leadership.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student’s successes and challenges.
