4th Grade Boys Secular Studies Teacher
About The Position
Yeshiva Elementary School is seeking a 4th grade secular studies teacher for a part-time position in the boy division, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in elementary education, with proven success in delivering engaging and effective instruction across core subject areas. Founded in 1987, Yeshiva Elementary is a warm & vibrant school dedicated to understanding & nurturing the potential of each child. With rich educational Limudei Kodesh and General Studies programming, the elementary division focuses on Torah, Avodah, building positive Middos and instilling a lifelong love of learning. Our nurturing and stimulating environment, together with our dedicated and experienced Rebbeim and teachers, and a strong emphasis on the individual student, personal character development, and academic growth, serve as a foundation for the holistic development of our students.
Requirements
- Strong background in elementary education.
- Proven success in delivering engaging and effective instruction across core subject areas.
Responsibilities
- Teach a class of about 20-22 boys in a dual language environment.
- Teach all core secular subjects.
- Foster a positive and structured classroom environment.
- Utilize strong classroom management skills to support student growth.
- Implement school-provided curriculum.
- Maintain high academic expectations.
- Respond thoughtfully to guidance and direction from administrative leadership.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student’s successes and challenges.
