About The Position

In the assigned job role of Architecture Consultant 3, this position designs and reviews solution architectures aligned with business goals, develops architectural recommendations, and supports successful project delivery. The role works with client stakeholders to gather requirements and with development teams, clients, and internal teams to execute projects. It also contributes architectural insights to proposals and RFPs, promotes reusable frameworks and knowledge sharing, and helps align technical solutions with business objectives and market trends.

The position is part of Infosys Engineering, which focuses on product-centric value delivery, data-first engineering and value-stream management, and the use of AI, ML, and predictive analytics to improve delivery processes and accelerate time to market. Relocation and/or travel to the work or project location may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.

Requirements

• Experience with 5G wireless access.
• Experience with RF engineering.
• Experience with 3GPP.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Create business requirements documents covering functional and non-functional requirements based on workshops and interviews with client stakeholders.
• Review, propose, and develop solution architectures that align application design with the proposed framework and are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms for implementation to meet business requirements.
• Review technical solutions and develop integration strategies for different technologies and systems to support seamless communication and data flow.
• Resolve complex technical challenges during build, deployment, and support while promoting reusable frameworks and artifacts.
• Provide specialized insights to development teams and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams to support successful project execution.
• Identify potential risks in the system landscape, monitor system performance, and suggest optimization initiatives aligned with business requirements and long-term objectives.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base so vital information is systematically recorded and readily available.
• Contribute architectural insights to proposals and RFPs to support successful delivery of proposed solutions.
• Proactively drive initiatives that support smooth project execution and transition.
• Mentor others and foster a knowledge-sharing culture.
