About The Position
The primary role of the job would be focused around the delivery of products over established routes. The Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to drive a 5 ton truck
- You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment, lifting 60 lbs.
- Ability to move heavy pallets with Tile.
- Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules and by taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift & pallet jack experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- correct loading and unloading of the vehicle
- recording of delivery information
- ensuring overall vehicle safety
- operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures
- Load, unload delivery truck in a timely manner to our locations
- Complete packing slips, waybills, trip sheets and bills of lading
- Maintain a clean organized delivery truck
- Be able to organize and load a skid for delivery
- Warehouse work, building skids for shipping
