About The Position
The Paraprofessional will support classroom teachers in implementing instructional and developmental activities for preschool-aged children. Responsibilities include assisting with student learning, personal care, and social-emotional development under the supervision of the classroom teacher. This position is in an integrated preschool classroom. Physical support, including lifting and mobility assistance, may be required.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and support toileting needs, including diapering and toilet training
- Experience working successfully with young children, preferably in a preschool setting
- Evidence of positive rapport with students, colleagues, and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities
- Support students in inclusion settings and individual learning needs
- Implement accommodations outlined in IEPs

- Observe, chart, and document student progress
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
