2026-27 4th Grade English / Writing / Social Studies Teacher
About The Position
BridgePrep Academy of ChampionsGate is hiring a 4th Grade English, Writing, and Social Studies Teacher for the 2026–27 school year. The teacher will deliver standards-aligned instruction using interactive reading, structured writing workshops, and cross-curricular projects, while maintaining schoolwide behavior routines and a safe, respectful, joyful classroom. The role includes adapting instruction for ESOL, ESE, and intervention groups; using assessment data to monitor student growth and updating gradebooks weekly; communicating with families; and participating in grade-level team meetings and duties. Teachers have access to high-quality instructional resources, designated planning time, instructional coaching, grade-level planning sessions, and network-wide professional development. The position is at BridgePrep Academy of ChampionsGate in ChampionsGate, Florida, and reports to the Principal or Campus Administrator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K-6) or English (5-9), with ESOL endorsement or eligibility.
- Successful completion of a Florida Level 2 background screening.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience teaching upper-elementary ELA, writing, or social studies in a charter or public school setting.
- Reading Endorsement or a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, Reading, or Curriculum & Instruction.
