4-H Program Educator - Russell County
About The Position
Assist in administering and promoting a comprehensive 4H youth development programs to youth within the locality. Assist the 4-H Agent in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and youth participating in the 4H program. This includes the development and management of 4-H community clubs; preparing and implementing educational programs through in-school club meetings; assist in planning and organizing day camps and residential camp activities. This position will have a high level of interaction with the public, and the person in this position is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and the internet.
- Work or volunteer experience in youth development and delivery of educational programs.
- Strong experience as a team player.
- Must possess a driver's license with an acceptable and safe driving record.
- Must pass a criminal conviction check.
