The 4-H Program Educator is part of the Division of Extension Wisconsin 4-H Program, which is housed within the Positive Youth Development (PYD) Institute. This position provides overall leadership and direction for a county-based 4-H program, encompassing three primary roles: Program Administration, Volunteer Management, and Education and Youth Advocacy. The specific time spent in each role depends on the needs of the county-based 4-H program. The main office for this position is in Oshkosh, WI, with a primary programming focus on Winnebago County, though some programming may extend to a broader geographical area. This position requires in-person work at a designated campus location and may involve occasional evening and weekend work to meet program needs. Employees are expected to arrange their own transportation for periodic in-state travel, and a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. The role also involves lifting up to 30 pounds with assistance.
