About The Position

This is a 3rd shift supervisory role responsible for managing warehouse and distribution operations. The supervisor will initiate, coordinate, and enforce program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include overseeing receiving, warehouse, and distribution operations, managing and developing warehouse staff and supervisors through training, coaching, and performance appraisal, and contributing to team efforts. The role also involves managing the labor and operating expense budget and ensuring a strong sense of urgency regarding safety training and compliance. The position requires availability during both day and night hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven work experience as a warehouse/distribution Lead or Supervisor
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff and supervisors
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
