About The Position

UNIS is one of the largest & fastest growing Logistics companies. We are looking for qualified Class A Drivers who will do shuttling and also using a yard goat. As a Class A Driver for UNIS Transportation, the primary responsibility of the role is to handle local transportation, moving goods between distribution sites located just a few miles apart. This is a 3rd shift position with hours from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay is $28.00 per hour. We are seeking individuals with experience working in high-volume yards and who are committed to a high standard in Safety, Quality, Service, and Efficiency.

Requirements

Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years).
Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record.
Meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation and possess a valid DOT Medical card.
No DUI’s or major driving violations.
Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test.
Willing to submit to a background check and provide employment recommendations.
Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance.
Must have experience working in High Volume Yards.
