About The Position

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy is seeking a dynamic and faith-centered full-time 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This PK-8 Catholic English/Spanish dual-language immersion school is dedicated to forming students through faith, language, and service. The teacher will be responsible for providing standards-based instruction across all core subject areas, including Religion, while fostering a supportive, engaging, and language-rich classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, student-centered, and committed to integrating Catholic values and bilingual education practices. Candidates should embrace the mission and vision of dual-language immersion education and support students in becoming confident bilingual learners.

Requirements

Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Knowledge of Common Core State Standards and instructional best practices
Understanding of elementary student development, particularly at the 3rd grade level
Spanish language proficiency and willingness to support bilingual learning environments
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction
Proficiency with educational technology tools
Final candidates must provide evidence of academic preparation completed in Spanish, such as a degree from an accredited institution where Spanish was the primary language of instruction, or demonstrate equivalent proficiency through an approved assessment aligned to ACTFL standards
