About The Position
We are seeking a 3rd Grade General Education Teacher to join our team as a Long-Term Substitute. This full-time position will begin October 1, 2026, and is expected to continue through the end of February or early March 2027.
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification appropriate for elementary/general education.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
Responsibilities
- Providing engaging and effective instruction to 3rd grade students.
- Developing and implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitoring student progress and providing appropriate academic support.
- Collaborating with school staff and families to support student success.
- Maintaining effective classroom management and student engagement.
