About The Position
Lebanon School District is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Elementary Classroom Teacher to nurture, guide, and empower our students. This position is a long-term substitute role for a fifth-grade teacher, with dates from October 2026 to January 2027. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inspiring young minds and making a real difference every day, ready to build relationships and foster a love of learning in a supportive school community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
- Current Pennsylvania Department of Education certification
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to equity
- Strong communication skills—clear, caring, and consistent
Responsibilities
- Creating engaging lessons in reading, math, science, social studies, and more.
- Adapting instruction to meet every child where they are.
- Using creativity, data, and compassion to help each student grow.
- Designing eye-catching bulletin boards.
