We are seeking a skillful and dedicated 3rd Grade ELA Teacher (Elementary Literacy / Reading Endorsed) to join our elementary faculty. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
  • Active Florida State Teaching Certification.
  • Strong classroom management, lesson adaptation, organization, and interpersonal communication.
  • Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior instructional experience in a K-12 classroom setting.
  • Familiarity with Florida learning standards and FAST exam preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, internalize, and facilitate standards-aligned, rigorous lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Implement formal and informal assessments, analyze student data to pivot instruction, and update gradebooks weekly.
  • Establish strong, cooperative partnerships with families, providing weekly updates on student progress.
  • Uphold a positive classroom behavior management system aligned with school-wide character initiatives.
  • Utilize technology effectively as an educational tool and host targeted tutoring sessions to meet individual student needs.
  • Dedicate 40+ hours per week to instruction, meetings, professional development, and school community duties.
