This is a Remote, Work From Home Position. The 3D Imaging Processing Specialist will accurately and effectively process image data sets, including but not limited to: MRI/CT brain perfusion studies, MSK 2D/3D processing and analysis, CT calcium scoring, MR/CT cardiac studies, and PET/CT fusion. The role involves prioritizing workload, organizing efficient workflow, and monitoring the Imaging tracking system (PACS Tracker), PACS, and RIS scanning schedules to ensure timely processing of advanced visualization studies. Collaboration with Imaging physicians and technologists is key to determine appropriate image processing. The specialist will discern between normal and abnormal anatomy, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and escalate problems as necessary. Developing and evaluating new procedures and protocols for advanced visualization, assisting with training departmental staff, and maintaining the written procedures manual for the Imaging 3D lab are also core responsibilities. Additionally, the role supports the integration of advanced post-processing with PACS, including software/hardware upgrades, and assists with daily PACS/RIS operations.
