About The Position

This role provides first-level supervision in an assigned department, supporting the company's charter, team commitment, and managing principles. The position aims to maximize profit by organizing, staffing, coordinating, and controlling production activities for least-cost production. Responsibilities include assisting in training and development of new employees, applying quality processes, performing all positions within the department, operating equipment cooks, and learning AS400.

Requirements

Able to work in a processing plant (which may be cold, damp, hot and humid)
Must be able to speak, read and write English
Thorough knowledge of all jobs within the department
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be willing to become CCP trained
Will become certified to operate hand jacks and become lock out trained, if not already
Simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required
Able to climb stairs and/or work on elevated stands or platforms

Nice To Haves

Be willing and able to work a variety of shifts
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
