About The Position

The 2nd Shift Production Manager will lead operations on the production floor, overseeing shift performance, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

• Several years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production
• Strong ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and production processes
• Experience with coaching, employee development, and performance management
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Nice To Haves

• Food manufacturing or refrigerated environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all 2nd shift production operations
• Drive safety, quality, and productivity across departments
• Coach and develop supervisors and production team members
• Monitor workflow and adjust labor/resources to meet production goals
• Conduct floor walks to address issues and reinforce standards
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMPs, and food safety regulations
• Partner with HR on staffing, scheduling, and performance management
• Track KPIs and identify opportunities for operational improvement
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
