Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree and/or 5+ years of supervisory experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a proactive manner.
  • Work effectively in a multi-task environment.
  • Must have knowledge of production and workflow procedures and be familiar with quality control standards necessary to maintain satisfactory levels of production.
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to train and work with a diverse employee population.
  • Must have the ability to utilize computers and technology efficiently.
  • Experience with multiple computer software systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

  • On a daily basis, organize workload throughout the department to maximize efficiency and meet company goals.
  • Adhere and manage to procedures, processes, and work instructions
  • Monitor individual and team productivity, and drive continuous productivity improvement through process enhancements and one on one coaching.
  • Research and resolve problems, and initiate efforts to prevent reoccurrence by addressing the root cause.
  • Successfully implemented continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enforce company policies and required attendance guidelines
  • Ensure safety and environmental standards are maintained.
  • Ensure the QEHS objectives and targets are met.
  • Provide productivity and efficiency reporting for all operational departments
  • Provide customers with effective communication and data.
  • Motivate and lead departments to effective problem solving and ensure ongoing staff development.
  • Open or close the warehouse at the beginning and end of assigned shifts, or outside normal working hours, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
