Requirements

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree and/or 5+ years of supervisory experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a proactive manner.
Work effectively in a multi-task environment.
Must have knowledge of production and workflow procedures and be familiar with quality control standards necessary to maintain satisfactory levels of production.
Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to train and work with a diverse employee population.
Must have the ability to utilize computers and technology efficiently.
Experience with multiple computer software systems.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Excel proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

On a daily basis, organize workload throughout the department to maximize efficiency and meet company goals.
Adhere and manage to procedures, processes, and work instructions
Monitor individual and team productivity, and drive continuous productivity improvement through process enhancements and one on one coaching.
Research and resolve problems, and initiate efforts to prevent reoccurrence by addressing the root cause.
Successfully implemented continuous improvement initiatives.
Enforce company policies and required attendance guidelines
Ensure safety and environmental standards are maintained.
Ensure the QEHS objectives and targets are met.
Provide productivity and efficiency reporting for all operational departments
Provide customers with effective communication and data.
Motivate and lead departments to effective problem solving and ensure ongoing staff development.
Open or close the warehouse at the beginning and end of assigned shifts, or outside normal working hours, as required.
