2nd Shift Operator

About The Position
The 2nd Shift Operator works in the Molding Department. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11pm, with a $0.50/hr off-shift differential. The role involves supplying materials to hoppers, handling and placing products on the appropriate skids or trays according to control plans, inspecting parts, responding to non-conforming product, and completing production documentation.
Responsibilities
- Put material in hoppers.
- Handle and place product on appropriate skids or trays as described in control plans.
- Visually inspect parts for defects, including excessive burrs and chips.
- Inspect parts as necessary per control plans.
- Stop equipment immediately if non-conforming product is being produced.
- Notify the supervisor of any problems.
- Complete appropriate hold tags as necessary.
- Place product in the hold area as necessary.
- Complete daily production reports as required.
