About The Position

Our program provides students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution. At the end of the program, students leave with strong skills, professional connections, and meaningful experiences that will support them in their long-term careers. The People & Engagement (P&E) team collaborates with senior leadership and business groups to foster and uphold the Bank’s culture of excellence. We inspire and motivate all colleagues, who come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. This is achieved through progressive people strategies and modern employee experiences that attract and retain top talent. Additionally, we help everyone pursue continuous growth and meaningful work within the Bank. The People & Engagement (P&E) program offers summer interns a unique opportunity to participate in specialized projects and receive on-the-job training and experience across one or more P&E functions, including Learning and Development, HR Operations/HR Technology, Employee Relations, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition, Compensation/Benefits, Internal Communications, and People Experience.

Requirements

  • Current Undergraduate Junior or first-year Graduate student demonstrating a profound interest in Human Resources, coupled with a robust academic record and a passion for public service, seeking to leverage their educational background and enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to our team.
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A sense of urgency and an ability to execute quickly and efficiently
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Acrobat
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Contribute to innovative initiatives by performing in-depth research and meticulously organizing information, driving forward our organization's strategic goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist People & Engagement with the implementation of people programs, procedures, plans and guidelines
