About The Position

This co-op position offers an opportunity to explore the world of aerospace and defense by learning from and collaborating with industry experts. RTX provides internships, co-ops, and full-time careers that offer a strong foundation for working on complex problems, advancing skills, and contributing to a safer, more connected world. This role involves working within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems integrated into military helicopters and planes. It also emphasizes integrating soft skills such as leadership, communication, coordination, and proactiveness into a dynamic environment to deliver quality and timely products to both internal and external customers. The co-op will provide growth in knowledge of Systems Engineering and Flight Management Systems.

Requirements

Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.

Pilot/Avionics Experience (i.e. Private Pilot, Aircraft Maintenance, DO-178 Certification)
