About The Position

Sanofi’s Global MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology) connects R&D and Manufacturing, supporting process excellence, data science, digitalization, and the launch and lifecycle management of high-quality medicines and vaccines. The Upstream Automatic Control Development co-op offers hands-on exposure to upstream cell culture operations, process technologies, and digital and automation initiatives in an industrial biotechnology environment. The co-op will work alongside scientists and engineers supporting mammalian cell culture process development and characterization, new technology implementation, and process improvement investigations for development and commercial programs. The project focuses on developing and implementing automated bioreactor control strategies by integrating mammalian cell culture operations, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), and cloud-based control software. The student will contribute to laboratory and digital projects, data analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, with mentorship from experienced scientists and engineers. The co-op is a six-month position in Framingham, Massachusetts, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full duration.
