The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is hiring a paid, full-time summer intern for its Banking Supervision team, specifically the Supervisory Risk, Policy, and Surveillance team. The team identifies emerging risks, performs specialty examination work, and develops and maintains quantitative models that support Federal Reserve System supervisory decision-making and risk monitoring at financial institutions in the district and nationwide. The internship is based in the Dallas office and runs approximately 10–12 weeks, beginning in mid-to-late May and concluding in August. The intern will analyze bank trends to identify concerns, conduct fundamental research using structured and unstructured datasets, help create risk dashboards for quarterly monitoring of local and national bank trends, and support projects aligned with team and department priorities. The internship also provides staff mentorship, cohort programming, exposure to central banking, access to senior leaders and industry experts, and learning and development opportunities. Participation is a learning opportunity and does not guarantee future employment. This position requires access to confidential supervisory information and/or FOMC information, restricted to eligible Protected Individuals under U.S. federal immigration law. Candidates must undergo an enhanced background check and comply with applicable information-handling rules. Applications are requested by Wednesday, October 28.
