Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with investment sales teams, analyzing property data to craft effective marketing strategies.
  • Underwrite income-producing assets by studying historical statements, leases, and market conditions.
  • Interpret real estate documents, identify financial risks, recommend value-add opportunities, and produce property evaluations.
  • Gather and track vital research and business development data to aid brokers in cultivating new business relationships.
  • Support lead brokers, gaining insights into the market to develop expertise in Commercial Real Estate Sales.
  • Assist brokerage teams with e-marketing, graphic design, and photo editing for real estate listings and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization, requiring independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize workload.
  • Support CRE Sales Producers by underwriting commercial real estate properties, creating investment reports, and coordinating closings.
  • Perform financial analysis, craft investment reports, conduct real estate market research, and coordinate closings, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements.
  • Become a local market expert, gain insights into investors Northmarq represents, and establish relationships with lender representatives.
  • Develop a solid understanding of lender processes, investment criteria, underwriting standards, and pricing considerations.
  • Understand deal structures, including the complexities of debt and equity, to provide solutions for diverse client needs.
  • Prepare loan request reports, perform data review, site analysis, financial assessment, and underwriting based on historical data and market standards.
  • Review third-party reports, zoning information, property taxes, organizational structures, and mortgage history to evaluate creditworthiness.
  • Serve as a point of contact for borrowers and vendors.
  • Gain expertise in financial analysis through underwriting, conduct physical inspections of real estate, perform audits of new loans, analyze financial statements and rent rolls.
  • Manage risk, oversee loans, monitor collateral, and address inquiries from borrowers and lenders while managing a real estate loan portfolio.
  • Research product lines, update production reports, and communicate changes to national platform of Producers.
  • Handle loan structuring, pricing negotiations, client communication, pre-screening, due diligence, and pricing updates.
  • Manage the deal process, including preparing submission packages, drafting and reviewing loan commitments, rate lock coordination, and pipeline report updates.
  • Assist in training new production analysts.
  • Assess and minimize risk exposure by monitoring the physical and financial conditions of properties.
  • Conduct in-depth risk analysis to identify property performance issues and mitigate potential risks.
  • Underwrite various transactions including leases, loan modifications, transfers of ownership, and assumptions, in accordance with lender requirements.
  • Monitor, maintain, and analyze insurance to protect clients’ assets.
  • Evaluate insurance policies according to lender and company guidelines to ensure loan collateral is adequately protected.
  • Analyze insurance deficiencies to identify uninsured financial exposure and mitigate potential risk by providing actionable recommendations.
  • Perform lender and loan onboarding, servicing compliance, administrative support, monitoring and payment of taxes, monitoring and follow-up of property conditions, cash processing, and lender remittances and reporting.
  • Responsible for financial statement analysis, watchlist/surveillance, draw requests, new loan audits, and other detailed projects.
  • Responsible for commercial insurance compliance, ensuring minimized risk to all investor portfolios.
  • Interact daily with internal/external customers, communicating potential insurance risk and/or investor requirements.
  • Responsible for the timely processing of all outgoing funds and reporting to Lenders.
  • Complete monthly/quarterly reporting, review servicing documents, ensure loan information is accurately set up in the loan servicing system.
  • Support business growth by setting up new investors within the Servicing System.
