About The Position

The 2027 Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Chief Operating Office (COO) Analyst Program is a full-time professional program designed to provide undergraduate students with an immersive learning experience and an understanding of the company's operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. Participants will gain insights into how teams within CIB COO support the development, execution, and streamlining of individual businesses and the enterprise as a whole. The program includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, and informative learning sessions with key leaders, incorporating real-world scenarios to prepare participants for a career at Wells Fargo.

Requirements

6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Strong academic achievement
Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
BA/BS degree with an interest in any of the following: Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Technology, Communication, Accounting, Mathematics, Analytics, Political Science, Pre-law, Government, Policy and Management, Management and Risk Management or related business field

Responsibilities

Support business and financial planning processes, including headcount tracking, expense management, and performance reporting
Contribute to strategic initiatives, regulatory readiness, and risk and control programs
Assist with the coordination of governance routines, leadership reporting, and internal communications
Perform data analysis, identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements
Support cross-functional projects with business, technology, and operational stakeholders
Conduct market research, peer benchmarking, and internal analysis to inform strategic planning
Assist with preparation of executive presentations, meeting materials and briefing documents
