This intern position is within the Drug Product Development (DPD) department. DPD develops novel formulation, processes, and medical devices to enable drug products at clinical and commercial stages. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage state-of-the-art predictive modeling and data science techniques to advance the science of drug development, contributing directly to improving patient lives. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, using data analytics, AI/ML models, and computational techniques to drive insights and innovation across therapeutic areas. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated and self-driven, have demonstrated innovative problem-solving ability and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. We are asking for experience in one or more of: computational modeling (e.g., fluid dynamics, discrete element modeling, or other similar techniques), machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) applied to large datasets, pharmaceutical unit operations for parenteral or oral solid dosage forms, or medical device applications. Summer interns will work with mentors for ~10 weeks on a guided research project within a PD Project Team.
