About The Position
The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) is seeking interns to join our team this summer. Requirements
- Background in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge in wind engineering
- Writing and communication skills are highly valued
- Familiarity with a programming language (i.e. MATLAB)

- Preferred Majors - Master's Level: Civil Engineering
- Preferred Majors - Master's Level: Structural Engineering
Responsibilities
- Wind tunnel analysis: process and analyze wind tunnel data from experiments on a single-ply roof system and draw interpretations from pressure mapping.
- Execute experiments on roof assemblies in a 10 ft x 10 ft pressure box using wind tunnel data and standard tests such as UL580.
