About The Position

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a dynamic student to support initiatives for global planning of materials across the Cell Therapy business. The role will influence a large matrixed organization and power decisions that keep products moving, risks visible, and operations running smoothly. From uncovering trends in inventory and material flow to improving how data is structured and reported, your work will directly influence how the supply chain anticipates issues and reacts to them. This is a hands-on opportunity to build knowledge of how complex global networks and supply chains are managed, develop analytics skills in a fast-paced environment and work across teams to deliver meaningful results for our patients and business. This is a 6-Month, 40 hr/week Co-Op that runs July 6 – December 11, 2026, in Madison, NJ.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science or related field
  • Candidates must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program and continue enrollment through the completion of the Fall 2026 semester.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hiring and for the duration of their employment.
  • Technical and analytical ability to extract, analyze, synthesize, and interpret complex data.
  • Excel Skills (pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Curious, inquisitive, and interested to learn more about Supply Chain, Operations Planning and Cell Therapy.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Supply Chain/Operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex supply chain data to garner insights for the planning team and leaders to be presented through the design and delivery of reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain and govern the supply chain action-tracking and escalation system (Tier), ensuring issues are clearly owned, up to date, and progressing toward resolution.
  • Manage the end-to-end tracking of material requests and transfers, providing clear visibility into status, risks, and required actions across teams.
  • Lead the review and upkeep of critical supply chain master data (such as locations and lead times) to ensure planners have accurate information for global supply decisions.
  • Enhance and maintain operational trackers used for launches and daily execution, helping keep fast-moving supply activities organized and transparent.
  • Drive improvement of material forecasts using data driven and statistical means for optimizing demand accuracy and overall supply reliability.
  • Create and manage the planning bills of material (BOMs) and planning data that determine what materials are needed to manufacture cell therapy products.
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities that streamline reporting, reduce manual effort, and improve data consistency.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all functions across the Cell Therapy network, as well as with external customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead process improvements by maintaining open communication with all teams and fostering an environment of cooperation in which to achieve shared goals.
