Depuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s family of companies, is currently recruiting for a Joints Supply Chain Co-op located in Raynham, MA. Depuy Synthes provides one of the most comprehensive orthopedics portfolios in the world, with solutions in specialties including joint reconstruction, trauma, craniomaxillofacial, spinal surgery, and sports medicine. These technologies are designed to advance patient care while delivering clinical and economic value to health care systems worldwide. DePuy Synthes is looking for 6 Co-Ops for the Fall 2026 cycle, split among 4 different departments: Operations Department (2 Co-Ops for engineering support and manufacturing process optimization), The End-to-End Project team (2 Co-Ops for Engineering and Capital Equipment Projects, equipment validations, and New Product Introductions), the BEX Team (1 Co-Op for continuous improvement programs), and the Manufacturing Systems team (1 Co-Op as part of the Manufacturing Engineering organization). These are all In-Office positions.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a 4-year Engineering curriculum
  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding of common engineering analysis tools (such as statistical process control) and reporting mechanisms
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to commute 5 days / week to the facility located in Raynham, MA

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in GMP manufacturing, medical devices, or FDA related activities
  • Proven experience with Project Management is a plus
  • A minimum of 1 prior Co-Op experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in process, project, and / or quality activities across the manufacturing network
  • Become involved in the day-to-day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility
  • Develop a range of business documents including but not limited to validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions
  • Support senior engineers on various Business Continuity and / or Cost Improvement projects
  • Create and analyze data related to manufacturing processes to recommend improvements or changes
