About The Position

Courtyard Simply Modern, a growing custom home builder in Sarasota, FL, is seeking an experienced cabinet designer to join our team as a full-time 20/20 Cabinet Designer. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the kitchen design industry
  • 5+ years of 20/20 cabinet design experience
  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Strong proficiency or certification in 20/20, SketchUp, and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and report preparation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid Florida driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in home construction cabinets design

Responsibilities

  • Actively collaborate with sales reps, purchasers, location managers, design professionals, and other staff to develop precise drawings for our clients' spaces.
  • Ask questions, assess kitchen and cabinetry needs, and create detailed cabinet drawings and floor plans.
  • Work with clients in person and over the phone, foster confidence in our services and communicate thoroughly about their expectations.
  • Gather the necessary information for quotes, obtain material and labor estimates, and ensure expenses work with the budget.
  • Maintain records of meetings to ensure the clients or interior designers' expectations are delivered and ensure you're providing exceptional service.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activity to keep your strategies effective.
  • Comply with company policies, follow up with customers, and maintain a clean and attractive showroom.
