About The Position
Entry-level position in the Sintering Department. The operator handles and places products on and off furnace belts, inspects parts for defects, stops equipment if non-conforming product is being produced, and completes required production documentation.
Responsibilities
- Handle and place product on and off the furnace belts.
- Visually inspect parts for defects, such as excessive burrs and chips.
- Stop equipment immediately if non-conforming product is being produced.
- Complete appropriate hold tags as necessary.
- Place product in the hold area if necessary.
- Complete daily production reports as required.
