About The Position
Sage Connections is hiring a full-time W-2 1st Grade Teacher to provide K–12 school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher will work onsite in Ohio in a first-grade classroom, from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for 37.5–40 hours per week. The stated dates are ASAP through May 2027. Sage Connections is a woman- and therapist-owned, mission-driven special education staffing company. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Ohio teaching license for first grade; the posting also references a valid Ohio state teaching credential in a related field.
- Strong classroom management and instructional differentiation skills.
- Ability to support students with varying academic, developmental, and cultural backgrounds.
- Passion for fostering foundational literacy, numeracy, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in elementary school settings is preferred.
